In the Marvel Cinematic Universe if people think about technology people think about Tony Stark (IRONMAN). The billionaire genius of Marvel Cinematic Universe. But there are some technologies, even Tony Stark inspired by other characters of Marvel Cinematic Universe.
People know Arc Reactor as the main power source of Iron Man Suit. Many people think the Arc Reactor was invented by Tony Stark but the first Arc Reactor was invented and designed by Howard Stark, Anton Vanko and Obadiah Stane. Arc Reactor was invented as a power source to replicate the Tesseract‘s energy because in World War II Tesseract‘s energy had been harnessed by HYDRA. Howard Stark studied the Tesseract attempting to create something like it so he could power Allied Forces weapons with it like HYDRA. In Howard Stark time the technology was Limited so Howard Stark used his research on the Tesseract to create the Arc Reactor. Although it could not power up the weapons in World War II. But it Intended to be the first stage of Project PEGASUS. The Arc Reactor remained generally silent until Tony Stark was able to miniaturize it and recreate it to power his Iron Man armors.
Howard Stark researched and theorized New Element structure but in his time technology was limited so Howard Stark was unable to create the element for himself. When he realized that it was not possible in his time because of limited technology then he created blueprints for the element hidden in a model of the Stark Expo. He collected all his data of research and fairgrounds for his son Tony Stark to discover it later and then make it in his time when he will have the technological advancement. Later Tony Stark got it from Nick Fury. Tony Stark created it with all the data his father left for him and he unofficially named this New Element Badassium.
The Mark XLII is Tony Stark‘s forty-second Iron Man suit. The Mark XLII was built to serve as his main Iron Man armor following the Battle of New York. This Iron Man armor was designed for automatic deployment and assembly. The Mark XLII is composed of several separate sections that can collapse into small pods. These small pods Using an independent propulsion system for each section can fly to the user and automatically assemble on the user. The Mark XLII could be summoned at any time by Tony Stark. This technology was inspired by Thor‘s hammer Mjølnir. Because Tony Stark realized that Thor‘s hammer Mjølnir always comes back to him. Tony Stark liked it and created Mark XLII armor as Mjølnir.
The Mark XLIV is the biggest armor of Iron Man. This armor, also known as the Hulkbuster. Mark XLIV was Tony Stark‘s forty-fourth Iron Man suit. This armor Tony Stark made with the help of Bruce Banner. Mark XLIV was created for the purpose of restraining Hulk. It is a modular suit that Tony Stark could wear while already in another armor. So Tony Stark created Mark XLIV(HulkBuster) inspired by Hulk
Mark L Armor was created by Tony Stark relying on nanotechnology. Tony Stark created this suit entirely contained in a detachable housing unit of nanoparticles. Nanoparticles could deploy over Tony Stark‘s body with a simple push on his body. Mark L has shields which were added by Tony Stark inspired by Captain America shields. There were so many conflicts about the Shield of Captain America between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers at the end of the movie Captain America: Civil War. So Tony Stark then added shields in his Iron Man armor Mark L.
Tony Stark‘s eighty-fifth Iron Man Armor and final Iron Man suit is the Mark LXXX. It is an upgrade to the Mark L Iron Man armor. Mark LXXX was used by Tony Stark during the Time Heist and the Battle of Earth. Mark L armor was destroyed by Thanos so Tony Stark made Mark LXXX version utilizing nanotechnology with enhanced durability with new features. Tony Stark created Mark LXXX along with thirty-four other armor during the five years after the Snap. In Mark LXXX armor Tony Stark added Energy Shields probably inspired by Doctor Strange. Because earlier when Tony Stark was fighting besides Doctor Strange he noticed that Doctor Strange has Energy Shields. Although Doctor Strange those Energy Shields were built by Magic but like the idea of having those kinds of Energy Shields in his Mark LXXX armor.
Tony Stark, Bruce Banner and Rocket Raccoon created a Gauntlet using nanotechnology as a glove called Nano Gauntlet. Tony Stark designed the Nano Gauntlet to allow the user to channel the powers of the Infinity Stones. The Nano Gauntlet was created with the same purpose as the Infinity Gauntlet was made by Thanos. Although the side effects of using Nano Gauntlet were far more damaging to the user than the Infinity Gauntlet. So Tony Stark created the Nano Gauntlet inspired by the Infinity Gauntlet of Thanos.
